The short answer: what Utah small business websites cost in 2026
We read the public pricing pages of website offers a Utah business can buy, from shops in Ogden, Payson and Logan to national services. The tables below cover 14 offers with published prices. Every price below comes straight from the shop’s own page in October 2026, with a link. If a shop doesn’t publish a price, we say so.
| Pricing model | Low | High | Middle | Where the numbers come from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Build fee, then optional monthly care | $349 setup (SitesThatBook) | $1,299 one time (Wasatch Made, up to 100 pages) | n/a | Build fees: SitesThatBook $349, Wasatch Made $499 to $1,299, Buildrok $499, GoDaddy’s guide “start at $499”. Care after launch: Wasatch Made $40/mo, Buildrok $79/mo, SitesThatBook $99/mo |
| No build fee, pay monthly | $25/mo (Wasatch Made template, 10 pages) | $349/mo (Get It Ready Growth) | $162/mo median across 8 done-for-you plans, one per shop | Wasatch Made, RateGather, Vient, TruKraft, WebDevAuto, Get It Ready, Footbridge Media, DJH & Co |
The $162 median comes from these eight monthly fees: Wasatch Made template $25, RateGather $33, Vient 5-page $100, TruKraft $125, WebDevAuto $199, Get It Ready $199, Footbridge Media $249 and DJH & Co $297. The middle two are $125 and $199, so (125 + 199) / 2 = $162. The median uses each shop’s main plan, so it counts Get It Ready’s $199 Essential plan, not its $349 Growth plan.
The two ways Utah web shops charge
Build fee plus monthly. You pay once to have the site built. After that, you pay a smaller monthly fee if you want the shop to host it and keep it running. Wasatch Made charges $499 one time for a custom site of up to 15 pages, plus $40 a month if you want hosting, security and unlimited basic edits. Watch what a build-only quote leaves out. Web Services Utah lists builds starting at $400 and says domain and hosting are not included. Wasatch Made’s custom price doesn’t include the domain either.
No build fee, monthly only. The shop builds the site for $0 and you pay every month. That’s easier on cash flow at the start, but some shops earn back the build cost through a minimum term. Wasatch Made’s template site is $0 to build and $25 a month for 10 pages, with a 6-month minimum. Get It Ready charges $199 a month for its Essential plan, with a 12-month minimum.
Neither model is right for every business. The better question is what you’ll have paid after a year, and what you keep if you leave.
What Utah-based shops charge (published prices)
These five shops show a Utah location on their own sites or in our research notes. Two come with a caveat. WebDevAuto’s Utah tie is a Utah phone number and Utah service pages, and we didn’t see a street address. Web Services Utah’s location comes from its name and our research file, and we didn’t check an address.
| Shop | Build fee | Monthly | What’s included | Term |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wasatch Made (Ogden), template | $0 | $25/mo (10 pages), $40/mo (20), $50/mo (30) | Hosting, security, SSL and 1 hour of maintenance a month. You bring and pay for your own domain | 6-month minimum ($150 total on 10 pages), then “you own everything” |
| Wasatch Made (Ogden), custom | $499 one time (up to 15 pages, live in about 7 days); $799 (up to 50 pages); $1,299 (up to 100 pages) | Optional $40/mo for hosting, security and unlimited basic edits | Domain separate | None stated for the build |
| TruKraft (Payson) | No setup fee | $125/mo; add-ons $25/mo each (unlimited updates, Google Business Profile, review management, automations) | Logo $250 one time. Edits not included without the add-on | No annual contract; “cancel anytime and keep the site” |
| Vient (Logan) | $0 | $50/mo (1 page), $100/mo (up to 5 pages), $200/mo (10+ pages); managed SEO +$500/mo | The $100 plan includes hosting, a domain in your name and 5 changes a month | No contract on any plan; you pay nothing until it goes live |
| WebDevAuto (Utah phone and Utah pages) | No setup fee | $199/mo website plan; SEO from +$200/mo | Not listed in our notes | 12-month term on the website; 6-month minimum on SEO |
| Web Services Utah | Starting at $400 (up to 2 pages), $600 (up to 5), $1,000 (up to 10) | None listed | Domain and hosting not included; content creation $100 a page | Build only |
Buildrok has a Utah page, but it’s based in Austin, Texas, so you’ll find it in the next section.
How Utah prices compare with national done-for-you services
Plenty of national services sell to Utah businesses, and their monthly plans reach higher than the Utah shops’. The top national plan here is Get It Ready’s Growth plan at $349/mo. The top Utah monthly plan in the table above is Vient’s $200/mo for 10+ pages, before add-ons.
| Service (location) | Build fee | Monthly | Term and other terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buildrok done for you (Austin, TX) | $499 ($99 to start, $400 on approval) | $79/mo, starting 30 days after go-live | Month to month; domain and first year included; 30-day money-back from go-live |
| Buildrok build your own (Austin, TX) | $0 to build | $29/mo (or $23/mo paid yearly) to put it on your own domain | Buildrok’s Utah page says the $29/mo includes pages, hosting, padlock and domain. You build it yourself |
| SitesThatBook (Sheridan, WY) | $349 setup | $99/mo for 5 pages; Google Business Profile tier +$149/mo | No contract; setup fee refunded if you don’t love it on the launch call |
| RateGather (FL), monthly | $0 down | $33/mo for 5 pages | No contract or minimum; “You don’t pay a cent until you approve it” |
| RateGather (FL), one time | $397 one time | None | 30-day money-back. RateGather says it has “one live site so far” |
| Get It Ready (Springfield, MO) | $0 until it’s live | $199/mo (Essential) or $349/mo (Growth, adds Google Business Profile) | 12-month minimum; domain in your name; design and code yours after 24 paid months |
| DJH & Co (Sarasota, FL) | No setup fee | $297/mo flat | No contract; “pay nothing until it is live” |
| Footbridge Media (FL) | Custom design listed as “Free” | $249/mo | No contracts; 90-day money-back |
| GoDaddy Website Design Services | GoDaddy’s cost guide says design services “start at $499, paid one time” | Not published | No price on GoDaddy’s design services page |
Three big names don’t publish a price at all. Hibu One quotes each customer, charges an implementation fee it doesn’t list, and says its contracts “typically range from 6 to 12 months.” Network Solutions / Web.com shows no price for design services. GoDaddy’s design services page doesn’t list one either, though its cost guide does.
If a shop doesn’t put a number on its site, you can’t compare it until after a sales call. That’s fine. Just ask for what a published page would show: the build fee, the monthly fee, the minimum term and what you keep if you cancel.
What the price includes (and what costs extra)
Edits, the domain, written copy, Google Business Profile work and SEO vary a lot by shop. Some examples from published pages:
- Edits. TruKraft’s $125/mo plan doesn’t include edits; unlimited updates are a $25/mo add-on. Wasatch Made’s $40/mo care plan includes unlimited basic edits. Vient’s $100/mo plan includes 5 changes a month.
- Copywriting. Web Services Utah charges $100 a page for content creation.
- Domain. Wasatch Made has you bring and pay for your own domain, on both its template and custom sites. Vient’s $100/mo plan includes a domain in your name. GoDaddy’s guide puts a domain at $0 to $30 a year.
- Google Business Profile. SitesThatBook’s Google profile tier adds $149/mo. TruKraft offers it as one of its $25/mo add-ons. Get It Ready’s Growth plan ($349/mo) includes it.
- SEO. Vient’s managed SEO adds $500/mo. WebDevAuto’s SEO starts at +$200/mo with a 6-month minimum.
For a national view, GoDaddy’s own cost guide says small businesses “can expect to pay between $145 and $640+ a year to create and maintain a website,” and lists website builder subscriptions at $9.99 to $20.99+ a month. Keep in mind that GoDaddy sells websites. In GoDaddy’s own words, its $145 to $640+ figure is what it costs to “create and maintain” a website each year, and the $9.99 to $20.99+ figure is for website builder subscriptions.
Year-one cost: the number to compare
A $0 build can cost more over a year than a paid build, and the other way around. Add up the first 12 months before you choose. Here’s that math from published prices, before tax:
| Offer | Year-one math | Year-one cost |
|---|---|---|
| Wasatch Made template, 10 pages | 12 × $25 | $300, plus your own domain |
| RateGather monthly | 12 × $33 | $396 |
| Wasatch Made custom with care plan | $499 + 12 × $40 | $979 |
| Vient, 5 pages | 12 × $100 | $1,200 |
| Buildrok done for you | $499 + 11 × $79 (monthly starts 30 days after go-live) | $1,368 |
| TruKraft | 12 × $125, or 12 × $150 with the edits add-on | $1,500 to $1,800 |
| SitesThatBook | $349 + 12 × $99 | $1,537 |
| WebDevAuto | 12 × $199 | $2,388 |
| Get It Ready Essential | 12 × $199 | $2,388 |
| Footbridge Media | 12 × $249 | $2,988 |
| DJH & Co | 12 × $297 | $3,564 |
Year one isn’t the whole story. A build-fee site gets cheaper in year two, while a monthly plan costs the same every year. Ask any shop to put two numbers in writing: what you’ll pay in year one, and what it costs to leave.
Contracts, minimum terms, and who owns the site
Published terms run from no contract at all to 12 months:
- No contract: TruKraft, Vient, SitesThatBook, RateGather, DJH & Co and Footbridge Media.
- 6-month minimum: Wasatch Made’s template site, and WebDevAuto’s SEO add-on.
- 12-month term: WebDevAuto’s website plan and Get It Ready. Hibu says its contracts typically run 6 to 12 months.
Every shop words ownership differently. TruKraft says you can “cancel anytime and keep the site.” Vient and Get It Ready put the domain in your name. Get It Ready says the design and code are yours after 24 paid months. Wasatch Made says that after the 6-month minimum on its template site, “you own everything.”
Before you sign, ask:
- Whose name is the domain registered in?
- If I cancel, do I keep the site, the domain, both or neither?
- What’s the minimum term, and what does it cost to leave early?
- What counts as an “edit,” and how many do I get?
Pay-after-launch and money-back terms
Three of the 14 priced offers we checked lead with paying nothing until the site is live: Vient in Logan, Get It Ready and DJH & Co. Vient is the only Utah shop of the three. RateGather’s monthly plan words it differently: “You don’t pay a cent until you approve it.”
A few others take a smaller payment up front and give you a way out:
- Buildrok takes $99 to start and $400 when you approve the site, with a 30-day money-back window from go-live.
- SitesThatBook refunds its $349 setup fee if you don’t love the site on the launch call.
- Footbridge Media offers a 90-day money-back: “cancel your services within the first 90 days and get a refund.”
These are each shop’s published terms. Read the fine print on their pages before you count on them.
How to budget for your Utah business website
- If cash is tight, a no-build-fee plan keeps the first bill small. Check the minimum term, and multiply the monthly fee by 12.
- If you’d rather own the site outright, a one-time build costs less over time only if its care plan costs less each month than the monthly plan you’re comparing it with. Wasatch Made’s $40/mo care plan after its $499 build is less than Vient’s $100/mo 5-page plan, for example. If the quote leaves out hosting and your domain, budget for them separately.
- Count your pages. Most of the published prices above change with page count, so a 1-page site and a 10-page site won’t cost the same.
- Decide who makes changes. If you’ll want new photos, services or hours added often, budget for edits, either as an add-on or a care plan.
- Ask about Google Business Profile and SEO separately. Most shops above charge extra for them.

FAQ
How much does a small business website cost in Utah?
Published October 2026 prices follow two models. Build-fee sites start at $349 (SitesThatBook) to $499 (Wasatch Made, Buildrok, GoDaddy’s guide) up front, and larger Wasatch Made packages go up to $1,299. Care plans after the build run $40 (Wasatch Made) to $99 a month (SitesThatBook). Plans with no build fee run from $25 a month (Wasatch Made template) to $349 a month (Get It Ready Growth). Terms range from none to 12 months (WebDevAuto, Get It Ready).
How much does a small business website cost per month?
Done-for-you plans with no build fee run from $25 a month (Wasatch Made’s template) to $349 a month (Get It Ready’s Growth plan), with a median of $162 across eight shops’ main plans. After a paid build, care plans run $40 a month at Wasatch Made, $79 at Buildrok and $99 at SitesThatBook.
What do Utah-based web design shops charge?
Wasatch Made in Ogden charges $25 a month for a template site or $499 and up for a custom build. TruKraft in Payson charges $125 a month, Vient in Logan $50 to $200 a month, and WebDevAuto $199 a month. Web Services Utah builds start at $400, with domain and hosting not included.
Is a one-time website build cheaper than a monthly plan?
It depends on the terms, so compare year-one cost rather than the sticker price. A Wasatch Made custom build with its care plan comes to $979 in year one ($499 + 12 × $40), while Vient’s no-build-fee 5-page plan comes to $1,200 (12 × $100). After year one, the build-fee site gets cheaper and the monthly plan stays the same.
Are $0 or free websites really free?
Usually the build is free and you pay every month, sometimes with a minimum term. Wasatch Made’s $0 template site has a 6-month minimum, and Get It Ready’s plans have a 12-month minimum. Footbridge Media lists custom design as “Free” with a $249 monthly fee.
Do I own my website if I pay monthly?
It depends on the contract. TruKraft says you can “cancel anytime and keep the site,” Get It Ready says the design and code are yours after 24 paid months, and Vient registers the domain in your name.
Can I pay nothing until my website is live?
Yes. Three of the 14 priced offers we checked advertise it: Vient in Logan, Get It Ready and DJH & Co. RateGather says you don’t pay a cent until you approve the site.
Are hosting and a domain included?
It varies. Buildrok’s done-for-you plan includes the domain and first year, and Vient’s $100 plan includes hosting and a domain in your name. Web Services Utah doesn’t include domain or hosting, and Wasatch Made has you bring your own domain. GoDaddy’s guide puts a domain at $0 to $30 a year.
